and Recognition The UNSW Bachelor of Industrial Design is recognized
by the Design
Institute of Australia (DIA), the
professional body representing industrial, graphics,
and interior designers. The course has strong links
in Australia and internationally.
Selected industrial
and commercial companies, research organizations
and design
consultancies, provide seminars,
consultation on design studio projects, and
industrial
experience for students. In addition, the
final design project in the fourth year of the
course
attracts the sponsorship of industry organizations,
allowing students to work on a
product
development in a commercial and industrial
context.
